HOW IT WORKS

1. Order and select your options

Choose the number of films and production level.

For Light and Medium productions, choose whether you provide the creative concept and script and arrange the filming locations and people on camera, or leave these to us.

Premium production includes creative concept and script development, location arrangements and casting by Visual Goods.

Add the product to your cart and place your order.

We’ll get back to you within 1–2 business days after your order.

2. Brief and kick-off

After ordering, you’ll receive a guided brief form to give us the essential information about the campaign, goals, audience and creative direction.

You’ll also receive a link to book a kick-off meeting. We use the brief and kick-off to go through the campaign, your selections, responsibilities, schedule and other information needed to start planning the production.

If any of your original selections need to be adjusted, we agree on the changes and final price together before production starts.

Once the production details are confirmed, you’ll receive an e-signable production agreement.

3. Creative development and pre-production

If Visual Goods is responsible for the creative concept and script, we develop the idea based on your brief, campaign goals and the direction discussed in the kick-off.

We present the creative concept and script to you before proceeding with the production. The level of detail in the creative concept we present to you and in the pre-production depends on the production level you selected.

If you provide the creative concept and script, we use them as the basis for planning the production and how the concept will be executed, including the filming schedule, locations, people on camera, crew, equipment and other production requirements.

The production level affects how much time, resources and specialist expertise can be dedicated to the different areas of the film production. Higher production levels allow for a more refined production process and a more polished final result. In everyday terms, this is often described as a more cinematic look and feel.

4. Pre-production meeting – Medium and Premium productions

Medium and Premium productions also include a pre-production meeting once the concept and main production plans are in place.

The relevant people from the production and your team come together to review what we’re making, how the filming will be carried out, and the key creative and practical details before the shoot.

5. Filming

We film the campaign film or film series according to the creative concept and selected production level.

The production level affects elements such as crew, filming time, equipment, lighting, locations, set elements and the range of production possibilities available for executing the concept.

6. First delivery

We edit and finish the film or films and send you the first version(s) within 21 business days after filming is completed.

7. Review and final delivery

After reviewing the first version(s), if changes are needed, one revision round is included.

We then make the agreed changes and deliver the final video files. The turnaround for revisions depends on the amount and nature of the requested changes.

SELECTING YOUR OPTIONS

1. Number of 30–60 second films

Choose how many main campaign films you would like to receive.

Options:

  • One film

  • Two-film series

  • Three-film series

Each film includes one 10–15s cutdown from the main film.

If you select two or three films, they form one connected campaign series. The films share a common creative concept and can be connected through elements such as the theme, visual world, characters or story.

If you need films based on completely separate concepts or unrelated campaigns, add this product to your cart separately for each campaign.

2. Production level

Choose the level that best matches the scale and production possibilities you want for the campaign.

The production level affects the entire production: creative development, pre-production, crew, filming, equipment and post-production. As the production level increases, more time, resources and specialist expertise can be dedicated to the different areas of the film production.

Light production

A streamlined production with a compact crew, lighter pre-production and a lighter filming setup.

Creative concepts are built around what can be executed efficiently within this production level. If we develop the concept and script, we present the idea and key visual references to you before production.

Post-production includes editing and colour correction, with the overall finishing matched to the scale of the production.

Medium production

A broader production with more room for creative development, pre-production, crew, equipment and different filming setups.

If we develop the concept and script, the creative concept presentation covers the idea, visual direction, structure and key production choices in more detail. This gives you a clearer picture of how the concept will be translated into the finished film before filming begins.

The production can involve more locations, people, lighting and specialised equipment when the concept calls for them. If we are responsible for the filming locations, the planning can also include location scouting before the shoot.

Post-production can include more developed colour grading and sound design.

A pre-production meeting is included to review the production with the relevant people before filming.

Premium production

The most extensive production level, with more time, resources and specialist expertise available throughout creative development, pre-production, filming and post-production.

Visual Goods handles the creative concept and script, filming locations and casting as part of a Premium production.

The creative concept is developed and presented in greater detail before filming. Depending on the concept, this can include storyboards or shot planning and more detailed consideration of the visual storytelling, casting, locations, set design, styling, cinematography and sound direction. This gives you a detailed view of how the film is intended to work before filming begins.

Premium productions can bring in specialists for individual areas of the production, allowing each part to receive more focused attention from people whose expertise is specifically in that area. Depending on the concept, this can include specialists in directing, cinematography, production or set design, styling, casting and other areas.

Location scouting is included where relevant to the concept.

Premium production also includes dedicated sound post-production by a sound professional. Depending on the creative concept and production scope, the sound approach can extend to elements such as custom or original music.

A pre-production meeting is included to bring the relevant people together and review the creative and practical execution before filming.

The exact production is always built around the campaign concept rather than a fixed list of crew, locations or production elements.

3. Creative concept & script by

Choose whether you provide the creative concept and script or would like Visual Goods to create them.

Options:

  • I’ll do it

  • Go ahead, pros

The creative concept defines the central idea, message, tone and creative approach of the campaign. The script turns that direction into what happens, is shown or is said in the film.

I’ll do it – You provide the creative concept and script for the production. We use them as the basis for planning and producing the campaign.

Go ahead, pros – We develop the creative concept and script based on your brief, campaign goals and the direction discussed in the kick-off. We present the concept and script to you before proceeding with the production.

Premium production always includes the creative concept and script by Visual Goods.

4. Filming locations and people on camera by

Choose whether you arrange the filming locations and people on camera or would like Visual Goods to handle them.

Options:

  • I’ll do it

  • Go ahead, pros

I’ll do it – You arrange the filming locations and people needed for the production. We use the information you provide to plan the production around them.

Go ahead, pros  – We handle the location search and casting based on the creative concept and selected production level.

For people appearing on camera, we look for experienced actors or other on-camera talent suited to the roles and creative concept, and take care of the casting process.

For Medium productions, location planning can include scouting potential filming locations in advance when Visual Goods is responsible for arranging them.

For Premium productions, Visual Goods handles the filming locations and casting as part of the production, including location scouting where relevant.

The number and type of locations and people depend on the creative concept rather than a fixed limit. They are planned as part of the overall production scope.

Premium production always includes filming locations and people on camera arranged by Visual Goods.
