HOW IT WORKS
1. Order and select your options
Choose the number of episodes, filming time per episode, approximate video length, planning support, camera crew and first delivery time. Add the product to your cart and place your order.
If you select multiple episodes, the filming time, video length, planning support, camera crew and delivery time you choose apply to each episode.
We’ll get back to you within 1–2 business days after your order.
2. Brief and kick-off meeting
After ordering, you’ll receive a guided brief where you can share the production information you already know at that stage.
You can also decide whether you’d like to have a kick-off meeting with us. This is an optional planning meeting where we go through the episode in more detail, including the idea, people involved, filming location, schedule, how the filming will work and any open questions before the filming day.
A kick-off meeting booking link is available in both your order confirmation and the brief form.
You can place the order before every detail is settled. How much preparation is needed before filming depends on your episode and the planning support you select.
If any of your selections need to be adjusted, the changes and final price are agreed together before production starts.
Once the production details are confirmed, you’ll receive an e-signable production agreement.
3. Planning and arrangements
Choose whether you already have a plan for the episode or would like some help preparing it.
By default, you arrange the people being filmed, filming location and the practical arrangements needed for the activity or situation being filmed.
If you select planning support, we can also help shape the episode idea and how it could work as a video. This is planning support only: you remain responsible for arranging and carrying out the people, locations, activities and other practical elements unless something else is agreed separately.
For example, an episode could follow someone through their workday, a training session, an activity with a guest, a day behind the scenes, an event, a trip or the progress of a project.
If you need us to arrange people, locations or other production elements as well, let us know. These can be scoped and priced separately.
4. Filming
The episode is filmed with a natural, documentary-style approach that follows the people and activity throughout the filming day.
The crew stays flexible and moves with what is happening, capturing conversations, reactions, details, different moments and the surrounding activity as filming progresses.
The filming is kept relaxed for the people on camera while the picture and audio are handled professionally. Wireless microphones are used where needed so conversations can be recorded clearly without changing the natural feel of the situation.
5. First delivery
You’ll receive the first version in the delivery time you selected.
For multiple episodes, the delivery time is calculated separately from the end of each episode’s filming day.
6. Review and final delivery
After reviewing the first version, if changes are needed, one revision round is included.
The agreed changes are then made and the final main video, cutdowns and YouTube thumbnail are delivered. The turnaround for revisions depends on the amount and nature of the requested changes.
SELECTING YOUR OPTIONS
1. Number of episodes
Choose how many episodes you would like to create.
Options:
-
1 episode
-
2 episodes
-
4 episodes
-
8 episodes
-
12 episodes
Each episode includes its own filming, main video, two cutdowns and YouTube thumbnail.
The filming time, video length, planning support, camera crew and first delivery time you select apply to each episode.
For example:
4 episodes + Up to 8h filming + Approx. 20 min video means four separate episodes, each with up to 8 hours of filming and an approximately 20-minute main video.
Choosing multiple episodes gives you a lower price per episode than producing the same episodes separately.
If different episodes require different filming times, video lengths or production setups, add the different setups to your cart separately.
2. Filming time per episode
Choose how much filming time you would like for each episode.
Options:
-
Up to 4 hours
-
Up to 8 hours
-
Up to 12 hours
The selected time covers active filming at the filming location.
Travel to and from the filming location is not included in the selected filming time.
3. Video length per episode
Choose the approximate length of each finished main video.
Options:
-
~10 min
-
~20 min
-
~30 min
The selected length is the target length for the finished episode, not an exact runtime.
The final video may be slightly shorter or longer depending on the material and what works best for the episode.
4. Planning support
Choose whether you already have a plan for the episode or would like some help preparing it.
Options:
-
I have a plan for the episode
-
Help me plan the episode
I have a plan for the episode
Choose this when you already have the basic idea and know what you want us to film.
You arrange the people, location, activity and other practical elements needed to make the episode happen. You don’t need a finished script or detailed shot list.
Help me plan the episode
Choose this when you have a starting point but would like some help shaping it into an episode before filming.
This can include thinking through how the episode begins and ends, the rough order of activities, location changes, simple transitions and moments where it may be useful for someone on camera to explain what is happening or what comes next.
Relevant references can also be suggested where useful.
We help with the planning and idea, while you arrange and carry out the people, locations, activities and other practical elements needed for filming.
If you would like us to handle any of those arrangements as well, they can be scoped and priced separately.
5. Camera crew
Choose between a one-camera and two-camera crew.
Options:
-
One-camera crew
-
Two-camera crew
One-camera crew
One-camera crew follows and films the episode.
This is often a good fit when following one main person or when the activity can be covered naturally from one main perspective.
It can also work with several people when multiple perspectives do not need to be captured at the same time.
Two-camera crew
Two-camera crew can cover different perspectives and people simultaneously.
This is particularly useful for conversations, activities involving several people, reactions and situations where several things may happen at once.
A two-camera crew also gives more angles when following a single person, providing more visual coverage and allowing for a more dynamic edit.
Both options can be used with one or several people. The main difference is how much can be captured simultaneously and how much coverage is available for the edit.
6. First delivery
Choose when you would like to receive the first version of each episode.
Options:
-
7 days
-
14 days
-
21 days
The selected delivery time is calculated in business days from the end of each episode’s filming day.
If multiple episodes are filmed on different dates, the delivery time applies separately to each episode. For example, if three episodes are filmed on three different days, the selected delivery time starts separately after each filming day.
